We left Solvang this morning about 9 am.
The day started out foggy and cold and stayed that way off and
on most of the morning. But it was never too foggy or too cold
to put the top up. We both love that part of it. (even if the
tops of our heads don't...We finally got hats)
Lots of scenic pictures today so I am typing
the info first so that I can at least get this online before we
leave tomorrow.
Lots of ocean pictures today. I was surprised
the difference in landscape along this road. We go from ocean
to forest to hillside with ZEBRA. I got a pic but am gonna try
to make it visible. lol
We fed seagulls at one stop. Yes, Rick was
nice to the Sky Rats. Actually had fun trying to get them to pose
in the air while I took pictures. (they weren't very cooperative
tho)
We made it to Monterey for the night. We
went down to the Whaf and to cannery row (drove thru cannery row).
We had dinner at the Wharf. Clam Chowder in a sourdough bread
bowl. Yummmmy!
Tommorrow should be Winchester Mansion and San Francisco for the night.
