Started our day with breakfast at an "ORGANIC"
restaurant complete with hippies and wheat free bread. It was
actually very good. Maybe we should start eating that way all
the time....?
HAD to do laundry this morning before we
took off for the day. Also hit a car wash. See you can't get away
from "it all" even on vacation. :)
The difference in terrain is wild. One minute
we are hugging the coast line with a sheer drop to the ocean the
next we are winding our way thru a dense forest, the next we are
in the hilly part of the country. It has been very beautiful country.
We came to the lower part of teh Redwood
Forest this afternoon. Went to the Drive thru Redwood. Got there,
ready to drive thru and the car in front of us got stuck. No I
am NOT kidding. Check out the pics.
Finally when he was "UNSTUCK" we got our chance to go thru.
But then we came to the END OF THE ROAD"
We have completed our
"JOURNEY ON PACIFIC COAST HIGHWAY 1"
was kinda sad but that means we are on our
way home. Made it to Truckee, CA for our evening rest stop. Nice
hotel with data ports so you get some more vacation pics.
